It matters to us that you know exactly what comes from a licensed external source, and what StockIQ calculates itself. The table below breaks that down for every data type on the site.

Prices, financial statements, and news arrive as-is from the external provider — StockIQ doesn't alter the raw data itself. The score, technical indicators, fair-value model, and psychology analysis, on the other hand, are StockIQ's own original calculation run on top of that raw data — not a figure that arrives pre-made from an external provider. Read the full method on the methodology page.
Regarding AI: it is used solelyto phrase a plain-language explanation of a value that was already computed deterministically — it doesn't invent a price, doesn't invent a fundamental figure, and doesn't decide the score itself. Full detail on the how StockIQ uses AI page.
Stock prices shown on the site are not real-time— they update periodically according to each page's cache, and may lag actual trading by a few minutes depending on the data provider and security type. Found a data error? Report it to us.
